Today, March 4, 2008, the Pocahontas County Commission met and on their agenda was an item to direct the Pocahontas Public Service District to formally remove eminent domain from consideration for the controversial Snowshoe/Slatyfork sewer project.

The motion was made and after much deliberation, seconded and approved. The Pocahontas County Commission has formally directed the Pocahontas Public Service District to remove eminent domain and the Sharp Farm from the table of this project.

Put simply...the Sharp Farm is saved!
